A concert from the 17th-19th Century

On Saturday 1st October 2022 “The Madding Crowd” are coming to St Mary’s Church, Amport to sing for us again starting at 7.30pm

They perform church and secular music of the English village bands and choir from the period 1660 to 1861, and their theme will be “harvest”. They are an extremely amusing and enjoyable group who really bring a “Joie de vivre” to the music.

Tickets for the concert cost £10 (£5 for under 16s) and will be in aid of new sound equipment for the church.

There will be refreshments during the interval.
