Monxton Parish Council Announcement – Planning Applications

The Parish Council (PC) would like to invite anyone who has an issue with any planning application to contact any of the Parish Councillors or the Clerk (see Monxton website for details). This is particularly important where you wish to object and want to elicit the support of the council.
It is most important that villagers involve the PC if they want support with their objection and while support would be forthcoming in most cases, we would at least have an opportunity to discuss the situation and any objections and advise whether the objections are based on valid planning grounds or policies.
In general, the PC would normally be minded to object to any application where several villagers are adversely affected and there are valid planning reasons to lodge an objection, however this is subject to a discussion of the specific application. The PC does not monitor the Test Valley Borough Council planning website so may not be aware of an objection hence the reason to contact the Parish Council.
