Written by William Nicolson and Simon Beaufoy and directed by Baltar Karmakur, this is the story of a climbing expedition devastated by a severe snowstorm.
Since the success of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay many hundreds have attempted this climb and many have died.
In 1996 climbers from 2 expeditions start the final ascent towards the summit of Mt. Everest. A violent storm with one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered strikes the mountain. The teams must endure the hardest conditions imaginable in an epic battle to survive.
The cast includes Jason Clark and Ang Phula Sherpa
