Election Results

The results from the Monxton Parish Council election have just been announced:

Judith Balding – 88 votes
David Bateman – 80 votes
Maggie Nicholls – 48 votes

Congratulations to Judith Balding and David Bateman, the two new councillors.
Thank you to all three candidates for standing for election.

EGM Update

Monxton Parish Council has put together various discussion points about the traffic issues for the EGM this Friday.

The EGM is open to all villagers and is this Friday 26 July at 6pm in the Village Hall.

MPC Election – Campaign Manifestos

The election for the two available posts on Monxton Parish Council take place this Thursday 25th July 2013. Voting is in the Village Hall from 7am to 10pm, and votes will be counted immediately afterwards.

The candidates are:

  • Judith Balding, Dingley Dell, Chalkpit Lane
  • David Bateman, Lavender Cottage, Sunnybank
  • Maggie Nicholls, Well Cottage, High Street

Monxton EGM

The Extraordinary General Meeting for Monxton is scheduled for Friday 26th July at 6pm in Monxton & Amport Village Hall. Sir George Young MP will be in attendance, along with representatives from Test Valley Borough Council and Alpine Group. Everyone is welcome and please do come and support your village for the traffic issues that affect us all.
